Workplace Resources
The following links to selected resources look at the needs of workers with disabilities and disabling conditions, as well as the overall workplace itself. These should be useful to rehabilitation professionals and consumers, as well as employers interested in providing safe and productive work environments.

The Job Accommodation Network (JAN) is a service of the President's Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities with additional support provided by The Hartford. JAN provides information about job accommodations and the employability of people with disabilities.
- The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Part of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and is the only federal institute responsible for conducting research and making recommendations for the prevention of work-related illnesses and injuries.
- The Office of Disability Employment Policy, US Department of Labor, has a number of very useful resources on worksite accommodations and information about work and persons with disabilities.
