Web Accessibility
The following are links to well known resources that address issues found in making the World Wide Web accessible and useable for all individuals.
- Bobby is a web-based tool that analyzes web pages for their accessibility to people with disabilities. The Center for Applied Special Technology (CAST) offers Bobby as a free public service.
- DoIT - Division of Information Technology is a resource at UW-Madison that offers access to web accessibility tips and suggestions. Digital reading solutions, screen reader and magnification videos can be viewed online.
- TecAccess provides comprehensive services that enable clients to understand, acquire, and deliver fully accessible Section 508 compliant solutions including accessibility, consulting, training, auditing, and testing services for government agencies, businesses, and educational institutions.

W3C World Wide Web Consortium was founded to develop common
protocols that promote accessibility. Services provided by the
Consortium include: a repository of information about the World Wide
Web for developers and users; reference code implementations to
embody and promote accessibility standards; and various sample
applications to demonstrate use of new technology.
